RHEOLOGICAL STATUS OF RATS UNDER COMBINED ADMINISTRATION OF CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE AND ANTIOXIDANT COMPLEXPIotnikov M.B., Maslov M.Yu., Aliev R.F., Vasiliev A.S., Tjukavkina N.A. The cytostatic therapy with cyclophosphamide in rats (20 mg/kg, i.p. on days 1, 3, 5) has been shown to increase viscosity of blood and plasma with accompanying increase of hematocrit and fibrinogen content, elevated aggregation and rigidity of red blood cells resulting in hyperviscosity syndrome (HVS). Administration of diquertin with ascorbic acid (20 mg/kg and 50 mg/kg respectively) once a day during 5 days improved the rheologic properties of blood and decreased HVS manifestation.
