ANTIBODIES AGAINST DNA TOPOISOMERASE I IN BLOOD SERUM OF PATIENTS WITH PATHOLOGIES OF PANCREAS
DNA topoisomerase I (Topo I) as autoantigen has been analyzed in chronic pancreatitis. Topo I preparation from placenta of healthy women has been purified in three stages by chromatography. The enzymatic activity has been controlled in the reaction of supercoiled pBR322 relaxation. Topo I immunoreactivity has been assayed by ELISA and Western-blotting. The levels of anti-TOPO I autoantibodies in sera of 12 patients with chronic pancreatitis were shown to be higher than in healthy donors.
