INHIBITION OF GROWTH AND METASTASIS OF LEWIS LUNG CARCINOMA BY PLACENTAL FACTORS AND IMMUNOMODULATOR OF PROBIOTIC ORIGIN
The effects of the various schemes of immunization of С57BL/6 mice with placental antigens on the growth and metastasis of Lewis lung carcinoma have been assessed. The immunization with placental tissue extracts or pellets with the complete or incomplete Freund’s adjuvant and an immunomodulator of probiotic origin was found to result in the substantial antitumor and antimetastatic effect. Immunization with syngeneic placental antigens increased the survival of mice in comparison with animals immunized with allogeneic placental antigens, the complete Freund’s adjuvant, official chorionic gonadotropin or spleen antigens.
